  24. Photogenics lets you use 1 active alpha channel at a time, although you can
  25. create hundreds at a time, only 1 can be active at once. And yes,
  26. Photogenics works by using a transparent layer onto which the users paints
  27. on to. This way you can "undraw" anything you've done without touching the
  28. image underneath the paint. You can undraw only until you've "fixed" the
  29. layer perminately - and even then you can still undo it!

  35. It only has 1 layer. But don't forget, Photogenics is only 2 months old and

  42. Just because Photogenics doesn't do that specific multi-layers thing you
  43. like it doesn't mean it's any less than Photoshop. Remember, Photogenics is
  44. 10x cheaper than Photoshop and requires far less RAM, and it's still a
  45. "new" program. For the price (55UKP) it's a *damn good package* which makes
  46. my LW stills/tmaps so much more "special".

  49. Yup, Photogenics is the main BUZZ in the UK at the mo. All the mags have
  50. raved about it and it's future makes life on the Amiga much more exciting!
